“I SEE SOMETHING IN HIM” LIKE WTF YOU SEE??? A REMATCH?”. This tweet caught several eyes and grabbed the attention of some who agreed and disagreed.

With 57.9K retweets and 110K likes as of now, many are talking about this tweet. There are even some who are sharing his words on it her social media sites as their own.

The author of the tweet, Tyren Lawson, seems to be starting a movement and spreading the word to stop domestic abuse. He has openly labelled himself a ‘Male Feminist” and is a strong supporter of women’s rights.

He stresses the importance of putting a stop to domestic abuse with his hashtag #stopabusiverelationships2017. Tyren is growing very popular on Twitter with 56.9K Twitter followers and still growing. He is very open with his thoughts  and opinions, letting his followers know that abuse is not okay.

One might ask why he feels so strongly about this matter? Tyren mentioned to his followers that his mother was in an abusive relationship and beaten by his father. He makes it clear that he is here to stand up for women and spread love.

  1. I feel like the tweet was a bit insensitive. ‪Putting blame on women for not leaving without putting the entire situation into context does not address the issue at all. The truth is most women don’t leave because if the abuser is already proven to not be afraid to hurt the victim, what makes you think he’ll let her leave him and have him loose that control& what if they have children. Most times the abuses will threaten to take away, kill or harm them and her. Many domestic violence cases, once the victim tries to break it off regardless if the abuser is in a new relationship, result in stalking and even killing of the victim.
