Bone Thugs-N-Harmony + Tha Dogg Pound = A Supergroup!

Have you heard? A new supergroup is in the works! Yes, Thugs-N-Harmony and Tha Dogg Pound are teaming up.

On February 13th 2022, Bone posted a picture with the caption “DPG! Bone Thugs-n-Harmony! THUG POUND! Get ready for the new Super Group! #bonethugsnharmony #dpg“ Seen in the photo are Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, and Kurupt. Of course we take this as an official announcement that the two groups will be joining forces to bring us a supergroup.

Although Wish Bone, Daz Dillinger, and Bizzy Bone did not appear in the flick, we can assume they will be a part of this supergroup as well (well… we hope).

If you’re a fan of the two groups, you may have noticed a back and forth between them over the years. On the song “Dogg Pound Gangstaz”, Kurupt dropped the line “Ain’t got no love for no hoes in harmony.” Layzie Bone came back with the line “Dogg Pound hoes it’s on.” on the track “Shotz to tha Double Glock”. After a bit more of the back and forth, there were several collars and features. Snoop Dogg and Kurupt featured on Krayzie Bone’s album Thug Mentality 1999 in the song “The War Iz On.”. Kurupt also featured on Flesh-N-Bone’s song “Kurupted Flesh” (5th Dog Let Loose album). Krayzie Bone was also featured on Daz Dillinger’s 2008 solo album Only on the Lefr Side on the song “Meal Ticket” and also on the Dogg Pound’s song “Money Fold’N” (2009 album That Was Then, This Is Now).

Although collabs and features aren’t anything new when it comes to Tha Dogg Pound and Bone Thugs, a supergroup came as quite the surprise.

We haven’t seen any announcement from Kurupt or Daz just yet and an official date hasn’t been released. However, if you’re a fan like us, you’re probably waiting in anticipation.
